project aims

As an organisation we believe that the act of making through Jewellery Design can contribute to individuals and communities’ health and wellbeing, their educational aspirations and can support pathways to employment and training.

As an organisation our objectives are:

To widen access to jewellery education by providing training, workshops, and contemporary community projects within underrepresented communities.
To creative spaces with marginalised communities and individuals to develop their skills and abilities in jewellery design, enabling them to foster a sense of belonging.
To support the self determination of communities and individuals to discover their creative voice and develop their own artistic abilities within jewellery design.
To advocate for marginalised individuals & communities of interest to gain access to resources which enables and empowers them to undertake the pathway of creative education or training in jewellery design.

creative partnership

The project is led by artistic team, Jessica Howarth and Lisa Arnott, who both have extensive creative skills and experience.

As two artists they have successfully worked together as artists and educators. They have a shared interest in empowering communities and individuals through the act of making which they have documented in their own academic studies.
